Half Day Nursery School Hours: 9:00 - 1:00

• Follows Public School calendar

Pre-Kindergarten Hours: 9:00 – 2:00 (extended hour available) 

• Monday – Friday; Follows Public School calendar

Before & After Public School & Holidays Hours: 7:30 - 5:30

• Monday – Friday; 49 weeks/year

Infant and Toddler

• Infant & Toddler for children from 3 months to 3 years old

Three Year Olds

• Preschool 3s for children from 2 .9 to 4 years old

• Nursery School 3s: for children from 2.9 to 4 years old

SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM

The Children's Center offers a program designed for the parent/guardian who needs childcare before and after school for their child in kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade. The school age program is open five days a week, Monday – Friday.

• The school age program operates for 49 weeks of the year.
• The school opens at 7:30 in the morning and closes at 5:30 in the evening.
• The public school buses pick up the children from and return the children to The Children's Center.
• When public school is closed for spring recess, certain Federal Holidays, or Professional Development Training Days, the school age children attend the Children's Center for the full day.

No Extra Charges for Enrichment Programs

The Children's Center provides special enrichment opportunities through school trips to local farms, nature centers, museums, parks, and libraries and on site enrichment programs, such as music, foreign language, monthly story-telling, and visits from nature centers. In addition, the Center's full time cook prepares home cooked meals and snacks as part of our nutritionally balanced meal program (breakfast, lunch, pm snack).  This is especially important as some of our children are with us for up to 10 hours a day for five days a week, and thus receive 80% of their daily nutrition while at school with us. The Center does not have volunteers filling staff positions.  However, we do have a committed core group of volunteers from the community and local public and private high schools who contribute their time and talent in many ways, such as reading to children, conducting special classroom projects, or teaching foreign languages or sign language.
